Delivery LPG tanker Gale
After a successful sea trial, the LPG tanker Gale was delivered to her owner shipping company Chemgas on June 4th, 2021. After the official ceremony the ship did its first official loading in Antwerp, Belgium.
The Gale (yard number CG029) is the first ship in a series of three for which we were selected to carry out the mechanical installation of the engine room and cargo systems for shipping company Chemgas. The installation work was performed at the Ship and Steelbuilding (SAS) shipyard in Foxhol. The LPG tanker is 91 meters long with a tank capacity of 3,500 cbm.
For this project we did the complete mechanical installation of the engine room systems and the cargo handling systems, including the following activities:
- Piping systems design;
- 3D engineering;
- procurement of valves and instrumentation;
- prefabrication of pipe spools;
- installation of the pipe lines on board of the vessel;
- commissioning.
The Gale will sail in the Western European region, often calling ports in Norway, England, Belgium and the Netherlands.
We would like to thank shipping company Chemgas for their trust and pleasant cooperation and wish the Gale and her crew a safe journey.
