The challenge

You are independent and flexible, with logistical and technical expertise and strong communication skills. You are in contact with everyone and strive to maximise the efficiency of our outfitting process. You enjoy sharing your experiences with colleagues, and can operate at different levels.

The Outfitting Department at MSN installs piping systems on board ships and superyachts. Due to the variety of other parties involved besides MSN and the strict quality requirements on our work, maximising efficiency is a challenge. You manage, monitor, verify and report, without losing sight of the big picture. You divide up the work for the Outfitting Department and ensure that the team can work smoothly and efficiently. You gather information in frequent contact with the Project Manager, Engineering Group Leader, Outfitting Supervisor and our client.

You have the opportunity to work on challenging international projects, while enjoying a high degree of freedom and responsibility. This role is on site at our client’s premises, primarily in the west of the Netherlands.

The ideal profile:

• Higher Professional Degree (‘HBO’) or equivalent abilities, completion of at least a level-4 Intermediate Vocational Degree (‘MBO’ level 4);
• Several years of relevant work experience in a similar role and sector;
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams;
• Experience with ERP systems;
• Excellent communication and writing skills;
• Mastery of English.
